I always stop here when in town visiting family. The BBQ is delicious and the service is very friendly, they've been around as long as I can remember and if you want good BBQ this is the place in Hutchinson KS

I have been coming here for over 15 years. Still my favorite BBQ around. Top notch smoked meats and the best people around to serve it up. Be prepared to smell like BBQ the rest of the day. There sauce is a little sweet with a little spice, just the right combination. Show up early and hungry and leave fat and happy!

I love the ribs here

Wow! If you are in the area and they are open (check they are only open for lunch from about noon to 2). This is a MUST stop. We had brisket, ribs and turkey and all 3 were so moist and delectable. Even the toast was wonderful. Brisket is Smokey chopped and perfectly tender. The ribs had a great smoke and flavor and just fell right off the bone. The turkey sandwich was spot on in every way. They have a salad bar with a bunch of salads, pickles and peppers great to accompany the meat. It is a small place and seating can be a little tricky but oh man finger liking good!

Roy's is the best bbq I've ever had. I've eaten bbq. All around the country. It's been almost 3 years since i ate here. I haven't found anyone better. The food is great & service is just as great. I just wished that i lived closer. Miss you so much ....😢

Be sure to go early enough to make sure they do not sell out of your favorite meat. Everything tasted fantastic, my favorite happens to be the brisket

This place is famous around here for great bbq. Great family that is committed to service and quality. No company around Hutch has better bbq. Kinda tough to get through the waiting line.

This is one of those small mom & pop establishments, a wonderful hidden treasure. The best barbecue I have ever had. Only open for a few hours a day. People line up for this amazing food.

Roy's was a nice find on our visit to Hutch. When you walk in, you immediately smell that smoke from their slow smoked meats. My son's ribs were fall off the bone tender with lots of smoky goodness in the flavor. My brisket sandwich was served on pan toasted Texas toast. It was flavorful and just a great sandwich. There were baked beans next to the "salad bar". The salad bar had your stock potato salad, macaroni salad, jalapenos (whole and sliced), and some wonderful cucumbers in some type of dill vinegar solution. The only thing I didn't really go for, and my son agreed, was that the BBQ sauce was too sweet. The friendly staff who are very helpful to first timers more than make up for something like that.

Some of the best pure BBQ I have ever had. No fancy sides or sauces just smoke and meat. Get there early if you want ribs they go fast (for good reason)

All of the food here is the very best quality. The sauce is the best. I always buy a gallon to take home. I travel over 80 miles one way to eat the best BBQ in the state. BBQ HEAVEN.

Wow! I am in town for a few days and decided to check this place out. Amazing! The second I walked in the door I was greeted by the sweetest, most inviting people I've met in a long time! Great people. The food was amazing! The BBQ sauce is incredible! I have no idea how they make it but I'd love to find out! The ribs are great. The beans are great! Everything I had was delicious but the people and the atmosphere made it a memorable experience. 5 stars! Would recommend!

Hutchinson's premier BBQ place. Don't even consider going anywhere else as the other restaurants do not come close. Bring and appetite and be prepared to smell like BBQ for the rest of the day as they have been in this building for over 20 years. Roy's has all the staple meats, all cooked to perfection. Portion sizes are appropriate for the price. Show up early because they shut down when they sell out. They sell out every day!!!

Best BBQ you’ll ever have! And the people are great!

The minute you get out of your car, you smell the wonderful aroma of smoking meat! You get inside & are welcomed in by the owner. Choices are beef brisket, ham, ribs, turkey, pork & hot or mild links, smoked to perfection. You can order a full meal or a sandwich meal.They have coleslaw, cucumbers soaking in vinegar, potato salad, a variety of peppers & beans.

The BBQ (I had brisket, ribs, and turkey) has wonderful flavor-- a lot of sauce, ended up scraping off most--and the sides were delicious. The owners are the sweetest people, which made the whole experience better.

I had heard about Roy's hickory BBQ for many years and have never had the opportunity to eat there until today and I'm glad that I did have that opportunity. It was late in the day and they only had three types of meat left but I'm telling you they were delicious and plentyful. The outside of the building it kind of looks like a house but the inside is warm and cozy and the people who run it are kind and friendly and very accommodating I will definitely be looking at eating here again

Great food and very friendly. Went with my family and all the food we had was great. I tried the ribs, pork and brisket. The portions we're large and the prices were reasonable.

Love this place and have since I was in high school. The meats are all great - smoky with good bark but still moist and tender. Don't be late though - they will sell out.

A Hutchinson staple. Great food, super nice people, and extremely reasonably priced. A must if you're passing through. I'm jealous if you live here and can enjoy it all the time!

Awesome bbq, quaint atmosphere

I live in Kansas City, where BBQ is supposed to be a lifestyle. While we have some kickass places up there, none of them are as good as Roy's. Some come close but none match it. If you go through Hutch make sure you stop at Roy's if they're open. I can't decide what's best there, so don't be afraid to try everything on the menu because you won't be disappointed.
